RELEVANT PUBLIC RELATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Public Relations is all about relationships. As a student in Biola's program, you will learn how to create, build and maintain relationships with people on behalf of organizations. You'll learn everything from how to create a strategic PR campaign, to the logistics of developing competitive digital strategies, to the realities of working with local, national and global media organizations. This is all done through the lens of a biblical worldview, informing our perspectives of the value of communication, relationships and people. We believe working in public relations is a sacred calling.

Each of the faculty who are in our public relations program wants to be here. They are not only exceptional professionals who have years of experience in their craft, but they are also devoted Christians who want to see the world impacted by God through public relations education and experience -- particularly through developing leaders and influencing movements!
OUR MISSION
The Department of Public Relations and Strategic Communication is a community of faculty, staff, and students, all committed to the goal of developing leaders who are trained to leverage influence and power in organizations in order to pursue human flourishing and cultural transformation. Our community pursues this goal through a biblically-centered public relations education focused on cultivating leaders equipped with ethical courage, strategic creativity and digital media expertise that facilitates managing communication between organizations and the public in order to build mutually beneficial relationships.

One of the best ways of growing as a public relations professional is by getting involved in one of our award-winning student groups. From our nationally-affiliated public relations agency (6th Street Public Relations), our pre-professional student affiliation with the world's largest public relations society (PRSSA) to the honors groups (PR Fellows), there are a lot of ways to get connected.
